About Elementaread

Hello Elementareaders and welcome to my blog!

I created Elementaread to share my views about things I love with anyone who might be interested in reading them.

I will be mostly be posting book reviews but I may also post things like: book to movie or television adaptation comparisons, discussions on characters from my favourite books, profiles on favourite authors, television and movie reviews, music reviews, subscription boxes reviews (Loot Crate and Pop in a Box) and anything else that may be on my mind.

However this will primarily be a book blog!

You can find out more about me and what types of books I'm into in my introductory post HERE

A quick note on the name:
I was struggling to come up with a blog name that I was happy with for quite a while. I wanted something fairly short and sweet that said everything I wanted it to about the subject matter of my blog, with a little bit of something I'm interested in. It was my brother who actually came up with the name Elementaread. It combines my love of Sherlock Holmes and reading and is completely unique :)

  1. Came across your blog on Marie Collins' "A Brief Stay at Earth Human Camp." I stopped by to see if you might like to review my historical teen/YA book "Sons of the Sphinx." It just happened that Tuesday of this week, I went to The International Exhibition of Sherlock Holmes at the Denver Museum of Nature & Science. It was fantastic. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to solve the crime without help! Hopefully, the exhibit has been to England or will be coming. You'll enjoy it!
Would love to have you review Sons of the Sphinx. Let me know at ccarpinello@mac.com
